And she has a record deal? Really. To be clear, this is not a hateful opinion. I’m not really for or against Keyshia Cole, I’m pretty indifferent towards her music. She’s put out some pretty quality, R&B jams. This is a matter of musicianship and artistic capability. Anybody can put out an album with the right people and technology behind them and while I admit, she has gotten better since her first album the question still remains:
Why should we be glad that artists “get better”? The artist should have been “better” to begin with if someone saw it fit that they invest millions of dollars in their talent.
